In a school with high levels of deprivation such as St. Peter’s, using FFT Aspire is important. It’s the only place that I can make an accurate judgment on KS1 achievement, as to whether the children are being adequately challenged and achieving above, below or in line with national expectation. This data is invaluable, for teacher performance management, whole school accountability and for the governing body.
